A few weeks ago I went to a work lunch at Jon & Vinny’s in West Hollywood and fell in love with an appetizer.
That’s right, I fell in love with an appetizer. Never in my wildest dreams did I think this would happen but that’s love for you, showing up when you least expect it. The appetizer I fell for was burrata, white peach, sun gold tomatoes, basil and arugula. It was sweet, fruity, creamy and literally one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I loved it so much I decided to recreate it at home a few weeks later. I took out the basil, tomatoes and arugula because let’s be honest, I really just wanted the cheese and the fruit. Three ingredients, one satisfied stomach.
- 1 ball of burrata cheese
- 1 white peach
- 1/2 tablespoon honey
This is literally the easiest dish to make. Ever. Wash and slice your peach, throw your burrata ball on a plate and then drizzle the honey all over. EAT AND ENJOY EVERY SWEET BITE.
