Finally, I can taste fall air. The reason I can just now get a taste is due to the fact that it has been raining for days in Manhattan now, and although the temp has actually dropped below 70, it’s that in-between, gloomy, semi-humid weather. Depressing, yes, but also causing a strange sense of calm for me.
I didn’t realize this change was going down so fast, thus earlier this week I opted for a dress and sandals to work. Found myself amid many who had located their scarves and booties already. I’m no stranger to yogging the road less traveled, but the massive gust of wind that blew my dress all the way up around my chest as I walked out of Starbucks made me realize that I too should hop on the bandwagon and say farewell to my sandies.
On a different note that’s more closely associated with the purpose of this post, I went to the James Bay show at Radio City last night and it was sheer magic. Also, I saw Adele last weekend. No words for that one. Obviously, poor poor me. My vibes right now are chill, chill, and chill. I am in the *hangout on a park bench/latte-in-hand mentality* for the foreseeable future, and also on a countdown to wearing leggings as pants soon.
So, please join me as I welcome this change in season into my heart and hopefully yours as well.
