Hey TGSers! We are back again with the TGS series you need and want in your lives- weekly Avo Toast recipes!
On tap this week we have a four ingredient, super easy Mozzarella-Parm Avo Toast.
MOZZARELLA-PARM AVOCADO TOAST
Here’s what you need-
- Half an avocado, sliced
- 1 slice bread of your choice (I always keep consistent with Oroweat Country Buttermilk)
- Shredded Parmesan cheese
- Mozzarella cheese balls (I use Belgioioso Fresh Mozzarella Snacking Cheese)
- Garlic salt, to taste
First order of business, toast your bread. Once toasted, cover completely in butter. Butter is my aesthetic.
Half your avocado, and remove it from the skin. Carefully slice the avocado, in the attempt to get the fan effect we all see on Instagram. (This is a work in progress for me. I tried.) Evenly fan the avocado over the toast. Sprinkle the shredded Parmesan (around a tablespoon) evenly over the entire toast. Slice 3 mozzarella balls in half, and evenly distribute throughout the toast. Finish off with a sprinkle of garlic salt.
