One of my favorite places in Los Angeles is The Getty. I’ll go and spend an entire Saturday afternoon just roaming through the garden and museum buildings by myself with no set schedule. The Getty focuses mainly on European and American art from medieval times to present. My favorite exhibit is the furniture just because I like to daydream that I was a European Queen that used to own it all. In addition to the multiple museum buildings, The Getty also has a beautiful garden that all guests can walk through. The plants during the spring and summer are gorgeous and fragrant, it is truly one of the only places in LA that I can fully relax in. If you need food or snacks there is a sit down restaurant and also a casual cafeteria, both are delicious.
Some of these photos were taken last October and some were taken this past May so you’ll get to see the garden both in fall and spring. I hope you enjoy.
Tickets for The Getty are free and parking is $15. Find out more visitor information here.
