Brisbane marked the last leg of the trip for me. We were barely in the city for 24 hours but we went out with a bang and by bang I mean ALL THE KOALAS. This entire post is mostly an excuse for me to post all of my koalas pictures and cry over missing my sweet koala Cinnamon who I got to cuddle at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.
We did manage to eat one sit down meal in Brisbane and seeing as it was my last meal with the girls we wanted to make it special and chose Verve. We ended up at Verve a little before dinner and snacked on appetizers and wine until the dinner menu opened up (never a bad thing) and then got a full blown meal afterwards. We ended up sitting at Verve for almost three hours just chatting and enjoying the delicious food, highly recommend!

This was the best thing of my entire life. Holding a koala was THE BEST THING OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. I don’t have words to express how happy this moment in my life was (I literally started tearing up when I was holding Cinnamon). I’ve been to a few zoos in my life and I’m really glad we decided to do the Koala Sanctuary instead of the full blown Sydney Zoo just because I really wanted the focus to be on the Australian animals (koalas and kangaroos) which was exactly what the Sanctuary had in store for us. LET THE KOALA PHOTOS BEGIN.

Thank you Australia for the trip of a lifetime. We had the greatest time and were treated so well every single place we went, I can’t wait to come back and cuddle Cinnamon again.
