On the menu this week we’ve got a Bacon & Brie Avocado toast (yes, please.)
BACON BRIE AVOCADO TOAST
Here’s what you need-
- Half an avocado, mashed
- 1 slice bread of your choice (I always keep consistent with Oroweat Country Buttermilk)
- 2 slices of cooked bacon
- 1 wedge of brie cheese
- Parmesan Cheese
Before we get started on the toast, the first step is to cook your bacon. Lay out your bacon on a baking sheet and sprinkle the bacon with garlic salt. (I got this tip from Chrissy Teigen’s Cravings and it will change your life.) Cooking bacon in the oven ALWAYS turns out better. Preheat your oven to 425 and cook your bacon for around 15 minutes or until your desired crispiness.
While your bacon is cooking, toast your bread. Once toasted, butter completely. Thinly slice your brie cheese so that it covers the majority of the toast. Set the brie and toast aside for a few minutes, allowing the brie to melt.
Top your brie with avocado, crumble your bacon on top, and finish off with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
