AVOCADO BREAKFAST TOAST
I chose to start off strong because this is my all time favorite Avo Toast. Not an exaggeration when I say I have been eating this for lunch every day for the past 2 years.
Here’s what you need-
- Half an avocado, or whole if you rlly can’t get enough
- Bread of choice – 1 piece. I always use Oroweat Country Buttermilk (glorified white bread)
- 1 egg
- Garlic salt
- Pink Himalayan salt
First things first mash the avocado. No guidance needed (I hope). Meanwhile toast the bread. Once toasted, cover the entire piece of toast first in butter, then in avocado. Sprinkle with garlic salt.
Now that the *foundation* has been built, the next/most important step is mastering a perfect, over-easy fried egg. You will finally get the hang of this after your 90th attempt at this meal.
Crack your egg over a frying pan, that has been coated in (you guessed it) more butter. When the whites begin to whiten grind the pink Himalayan salt evenly over the surface of the egg, including the yolk. Now, literally leave the damn egg alone and just let it cook. Once the entire white is solid, and the outer edges are beginning to brown, your egg is ready. Pop that baby right onto the avocado toast and call it a day.
